Polymer Embolization
EmboSci
EmboSci is an Australian medical device start-up developing a next-generation polymer-based embolisation solution. The technology has been designed to redefine how blood flow is controlled within the body. Fresh out of seed funding and approaching first-in-man clinical trials, the company needed a brand identity that could speak credibly to med-tech investors, strategic partners, and clinician-scientists alike.
My mandate was to build EmboSci's brand from the ground up: logo redesign, colour palette, a cohesive visual language, and wireframes for their public-facing landing page. The goal was develop a brand that feels simultaneously clinical and design-elevated
With the device still in pre-clinical development, product imagery was off the table. Instead, I developed an abstract visual system by extracting textures from microscopic images of the polymer material and translating them into stylised illustrations and graphic assets.
